Flavours of Malta · St. George’s Bay
Where Malta eats now,
the way Malta has always eaten.
Min Nanna · From Grandma
Nearly every Maltese family
had a grandmother
who fed them.
Maybe she still does. Maybe her recipes are kept now in someone else’s hands — a daughter’s, an aunt’s, a son who learnt by watching. The food carries on regardless.
Mananni exists to keep that table set. Ftira at midday, ross il-forn on Sunday, kannoli when there’s something to celebrate. We don’t rewrite the recipes. We just make sure they keep being served.

Niċċelebraw · Let’s Celebrate
Every Maltese family does this on Sunday.
We just do it in public.
Three generations, one long table, ross il-forn in the middle.
Birthdays, anniversaries, festa nights. Tell us the occasion.
Once a month, a grandmother brings her recipe. We provide the kitchen. Next date: [DATE].
Come hungry,
stay longer.
